Asmodeus - Re-design -by `dapper-owl

Traditional Art / Drawings / Fantasy

A re-design for Asmodeus, the King of Hell. I wanted to give him a really good makeover, much more elegant and graceful, but also commanding. For his armor and overall look I combined old German armour and Samurai aesthetic in some subtle and not-so-subtle ways. Originally he had three sets of wings, but one was torn off when he was cast out of Heaven for protecting his friends life.
He was then driven mad and waged war on the place he used to call home. Such a pleasant demon.

The design makes me think of Don Quijote.. I think it's the I'm-here-I-don't-care-I-can-do-it-attitude combined with that awesome armor. Love it <3

I think you succeeded in making him look elegant, but i find his face to be a bit too friendly-looking to fit the description. Nonetheless, looks good!

Epic design, he looks really cool and I think you captured the perfect mix of graceful and commanding! The German combined with Samurai armour is awesome. I love his story too, sounds like an interesting character!
