Monocle

A shiney monocle trinket that is extremely attractive to choubou. Present this trinket for a single breeding pair during breeding season to increase the chances of getting offspring by 5O%. Only one large trinket can be used per pair, and it can be stacked with only one small trinket per breeding pair. If the breeding is successful the item will be passed down to the offspring and become a permanent accessory. If the breeding fails, the item will stay in the inventory of the choubou owner who purchased it.

Questions: If the breeding succeeds and the accessory is passed on to the offspring, does it still have the attractive affect? Meaning, will that Choubou offspring have the increased chance of a successful breeding? If so, can that choubou also use an entirely new accessory the next breeding season?
Also... it passes down to the offspring, you saw. Is there any way to get one for a parent, instead? :P haha

It loses its effect once the offspring carries it. The offspring can use a new item {while the item is in your inventory for breeding season it does not appear on the choubou} for breeding season after that, while it has the parents item permanently equipped.

As of yet we have no plans on releasing these accessories as just accessories. You will have to commissions jewelery for your pet if you want something like this that has no effect. :]

Thank you very much! It's a very interesting concept-- using accessories to increase the likelihood of successful breedings. I'm really glad you don't loose the item if the breeding fails, though... haha.

Sounds good to me. C: May I ask what an estimate for a monocle like this may cost for a Choubou jewelry piece? haha

thing is if you used the monocle and bred hector it would go on his baby instead of him... =[

also all these trinkets imply that choubou breeding is a bit hit and miss!! D:
