MUNDO PATITAS CHIHUAHUA

El proyecto es para que se les apoye con mas fondos (mas bien pare que se le reconosca como asociacion civil y asi puedan tener apoyo gubernamental) para rescatar animales de la calle, no tienen un refugio, funcionan a base de hogares temporales, por ejemplo se les llaman para avisarles de un perrito o gatito en apuros y ellos contactan a varias personas para saber quien puede hacerse cargo de el animalito.... la comida, los gastos veterinarios, las vacunas, baños y esterilizaciones son total y completamente cubiertos por la asociacion (que esta conformada por 20 personas a lo maximo) el hogar temporal solamente tiene que tenerle un lugar en su patio que este seco y limpio y pues mucho cariño.

Es muy dificil conseguir personas que les apoyen, incluso dandoles TODO (tambien transporte gratis, si el perrito o gatito tiene una enfermedad y requiere visitas al veterinario ellos lo llevan) y muchisimo mas dificil conseguir fondos para seguir ayudando. A veces se les dona croquetas y medicamentos pero los gastos son muchisimos:

Comida para mascotas.

Material quirurjico veterinario (para esterilizacion y otras cosas.)

Medicinas (de uso veterinario y humano) y vacunas.

Platos, correas, collares, placas.

Material para bañar a los animales y desparacitarlos (esponjas, jabones garrapaticidas, toallas, cortadores de uñas, asuntol, ivermectina, bovitraz, etc...)

Puedes buscarlos en FACEBOOK como "MUNDO PATITAS CHIHUAHUA" y ahi te vas a enterar de todo, ahi hay fotos de los animalitos, de eventos y un monton de cosas mas.

Dear (secret) Santa,

For christmas I would like one of two characters plz:

Character A: Taneli (aka Tanner)

Colours + Markings + Piercings: [link] (hopefully I'll get a full body ref for him sometime soon.
Personality: Taneli, or Tanner as most called him, is a resident of the eighth layer of hell, specializing in horology (aka fixing clocks), but also dabbles in jewelery making and other metal smithing. He is a high nymph, and a earth/copper element, allowing him to refine, bend and control metals and stones. He tries to remain unassuming and tends to be extremely polite but comes off fragile and anxious. He's self-depreciating and kind, but tries to keep all possible friendships at a distance because of his past associations. His past has driven him to become a hermit, but he still tries to live a normal life while burying his memories and true feelings.

Character B: Dominique (aka... dom.)

Colours: Olive-ish skin tone, reddish brown hair, red eyes.
Personality: He's insane, nuerotic, agoraphobic, ocd, a little schitzo, a drug addict, paranoid, an insomniac, and a genius in alchemy, science and weapon innovation. He's older than he looks, and this is reflected in his curmudgeony outlook on life. He was born to an nomadic tribe in the far eastern desert, but ended up working for the military trying to conquer his people, and soon after, became their prisoner. He's forgotten what the real sun feels like and hasn't tasted freedom in a long time. He's has an unhealthy curiosity for the mechanics of the world around him, which often gets him into more trouble than it's worth. He's also a sarcastic, grumpy, angst-ridden bastard.

I'd love to see your personal vision of their clothes and designs, so feel free to stick as close to the original look or stray as far from it as possible.

Debauchle at Anime Evolution

This year I attended Anime Evolution in Vancouver, as I do almost every year, for the past 4 years now.  Things started out really great in the beginning, when I first started to attend, but every year it seems this con get progressively worse.  Less organization, venues falling through, disrespect to patrons, vendors and artists, but the most recent AE was by the far the worst that has been seen yet.

Being held at the convention center in Vacouver, the con itself was forced into one major showing hall.  Vendors, artists, and shows were all scheduled at the same time in the same place.  The vendors were small, few and far between, but were granted a large area with plenty of room around them.  The artist alley on the other hand, which has been in the past a very large part of the con and a major selling point, was shoved into a corner WITH the shows.  Meaning we were forced to sit beside and some of us even FACING metal j-rock bands, to which only a handful of con-goers actually attended.  The music was so loud that many of the artists came down with severe headaches and had to abandon their tables.  Not that it mattered that their tables were un-manned, because none of the patrons would come CLOSE to the outrageously loud performances.  Most of them didn't even want to venture into the vendor area, which was all the way on the other side of the hall.  I wasn't even in the worst of the rows, and most of my buyers could not hear a word I was saying, leaving without buying and deciding not to come back. (edit: The lights in the AA were also turned off for unknown reasons, and were not turned back on, at all.)  I was in the second 'best' and I still had a hard time breaking even.

Some of the artists who were in the now notorious 'third row' have tried to speak to the admins of AE, but have been greeted with no help and not even a recognition of the problem.  Everyone at the con complained, artists, vendors and con-goers.  There was not one group that was excluded from the backlash of this horrible planning.

I had a lot of friends who had this happen to them, and if you're one of the artists who suffered at this years con I ask that you contact ~bandeau, who is trying to put an effort together to get compensation of some kind.

Needless to say, we've all been shoved aside, ignored and treated with complete disrespect.  This con fell apart this year, and I don't know if I'll ever be going back with this kind of administration.

Terms of Agreement for Commissions

Terms of Agreement

I reserve the right to decline any commission request without question.

I reserve the right to include any commission done in natural medium or otherwise that is not to be sent in my portfolio/book/etc. If the original is to be sent, I reserve the right to include a copy of it.

I reserve the full rights to the image and it's use/distribution unless otherwise agreed upon (rights to the image for your own non-personal use may be purchased).

I reserve the right to display commissioned pieces on my website(s) or DeviantART gallery (if requested an original character of yours, credit to you will be noted accordingly). If you do not want your commission displayed for whatever reason, please speak to me, I'm flexible.

I reserve the right to adjust pricing on a requested piece accordingly.

Once a piece is commissioned, you may use it for any personal use that you please, including but not limited to icons, signatures, layouts, wallpapers, themes and personal site display, without being required to link me back or credit, though it's always appreciated. You may not however claim the work to be your own or set it up for redistribution. I continue to reserve the rights to the artwork, you may not use it for any external projects (commercial or non-commercial). If you are looking for something to redistribute, use for your game, represent your comic, use as an ad banner, sell or show at conventions, etc, speak to me.

If you are not sure whether your request counts as personal or otherwise, feel free to ask me about it's intended use.

Regular commissions are NOT to be used for things like book illustrations, covers or any other publishing without expressed written permission (whether you make a profit or not). They cover non-commercial use ONLY including non-profit making projects such as free online games. You may not make prints of my work to sell. I still hold legal rights to the art, commissioning me means agreeing to these terms.

This includes but is not limited to: Book illustrations, game illustrations/concepts, adoptables/petsite pets and so forth. If you wish to have me illustrate something like this, or use my art in a commercial project it will fall under professional commissions and must be discussed with me before the commission is started, the rights to the image will be included in the price for you to use as you please. You must specify if this is the case to be properly quoted, prices listed here are for personal commission only. Failure to do so may result in legal action. Pricing will be done on a project to project basis. For art books (that you've commissioned the piece to appear in) I require proper credit wherever you might setup your credits, or for sites on the credits section of the site under the name of S.A.McGowan for my work. Standard credits for novel covers apply.

I will not begin the piece until I have received payment, once I have received payment, I will continue to update you on the production of the piece, all pieces are begun and finished in the order that I receive payment. I will only accept so many commissions at once. If you have ordered a large commission and wish to pay with a payment plan, it can be discussed.

I only accept paypal. No exceptions. When you send money please attach your DeviantArt screen name either in the subject line or in a note on the payment.

All commissions are non refundable.
